Delphine Bedel is a photographer, writer and creative director. Founder of Meta/Books, a publishing platform for emerging photographers and designers, her awarded editorial work includes over 80 books. At BABF she will release and talk about her newest book Out of the Blue — about Suzanne Gloria Lyall, missing since March 2 1998 in Albany (NY), at the age of 19 –The book is a conceptual work with a tragic underlying narrative — the disappearance of the teenager. Masom Leaver-Yap on the making of James Richards: Requests and Antisongs, the most significant comprehensive publication on Richards work to date. The book translates the strategies of his artistic practice into the rhythm of printed matter. Published on the occasion of James Richards’ recent exhibition «Crumb Mahogany» at Bergen Kunsthall.

Mondo is an independent, artist-run initiative that focuses on art publications, fanzines, and printed matter, mainly from young and newly established artists from the circumpolar North. Mondo plays an important role in both the local scene as well as on the national level, since it is the only independent art book platform and distributor in the Northern region. Currently located in the front space at the Tromsø Kunstforening (Tromsø Gallery of Contemporary Art) and also a small satellite site at Nord Norsk Kunstnersenter in Svolvær, Lofoten Islands, Norway. Mondo is run by Tanya Busse, Miriam Haile and Linn Horntvedt.
